At the biggening of 2020, the world was marked by the beginning of a viral outbreak,  which initially spread throughout China, and then quickly moved to other countries this virus  called the new SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus that causes the disease called COVID-19, an English  acronym for Coronavirus Disease 2019. The COVID-19 has a high rate of transmission among  people and there are no vaccines or drugs able to guarantee the cure or the effects on those  infected.

All government in the world said that to reduce the risks of transmission the virus,  people must take isolation, that was considered the alternative in reducing the pandemic in  the world. The isolation, also called quarantine, was accepted by most countries in the world  and immediately impacts to human health, economy drop in consumption and the  unemployment, and currently they are in practically all countries around the world.

Keeping fit and healthy is important at any time, but during the coronavirus pandemic,  it is critical. Maybe some people feel bored with quarantine, so they must find the solution, a  solution that people do is planting, before the pandemic. Maybe planting in the garden is it  just a pleasant way to pass an afternoon, keeping our hobby or keeping our stresslevels down,  or Most people think of houseplants as a way to beautify around their home, but now people  must keep relationship with the plant during the pandemic.

For the new study, researchers from the University of Seville’s School of Agricultural  Engineering in Spain, as well as other international universities, wanted to learn about how  having plants at home impacted people’s emotional welfare while confined during the  pandemic. The results showed that nearly three in four respondents felt that plants made a  positive impact on their mood during lockdowns (www.verywellmind.com/mental-health benefits-of-houseplants)

Interest in houseplants was high even before the pandemic, that enthusiasm has  increased in the recent months as more people realized that cultivating greenery in their  homes was therapeutic. It’s a hobby capable of boosting relaxation, happiness, and  attentiveness, studies have shown.

Planting and gardening are known for being a peaceful activity and since COVID-19  has drastically impacted our way of life, many have taken up the outdoor hobby. Gardening  is a great way to get our life a minute out away from laptop or handphone screens and we life  into nature, so we can be more healthy, inexpensive, super-rewarding and full of educational.  growing plants and flowers teach us about how to love the environment, how to improve our  patience, how to take decision making and actually overall for our fitness and healthy.

Gardening gives you a chance to breathe in fresh air and enjoy the sights and sounds  of nature, all of which can reduce stress and keep anxiety at bay. It also gives you a chance to  set aside other worries as you focus fully on the task at hand, whether it’s sowing seeds or  pulling weeds. You can also express your creativity by designing pretty flower gardens and  bouquets to bring some colour into your home and create a lovely, restful space.
