Bangkok, Thailand – Nine delegates from SIT Al Haraki, consisting of one elementary school student, seven junior high school students, and one senior high school student, proudly represented the school at Asia Youth International Model United Nations (AYIMUN) 21st Bangkok 2026, held from 26 to 29 June 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Throughout the conference, the delegates engaged in discussions on global issues alongside participants from various countries, demonstrating leadership, diplomacy, collaboration, critical thinking, and public speaking skills in an international setting. Through the Model United Nations simulation, they gained valuable experience in proposing solutions, negotiating with fellow delegates, and developing a deeper understanding of global challenges and international cooperation.
Beyond the conference sessions, the delegates also participated in educational and cultural visits to several iconic destinations in Bangkok, including Wat Arun, Wat Pho, ICONSIAM, Asiatique, and Chatuchak Market. They also had the opportunity to visit the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bangkok, where they gained meaningful insights into diplomacy, international relations, and the role of Indonesian representatives abroad.
Participation in AYIMUN 21st Bangkok 2026 reflects SIT Al Haraki’s commitment to providing students with global learning opportunities that foster leadership, intercultural understanding, and international mindedness.
